Charges against police officer dropped

Charges are dropped against a local retired cop who got into a fight with a current officer Retired Newport Police Officer Tom Zeigler and officer Joseph Carroll got into the fight back in 2005 and when Zeigler showed he had a gun another officer shot him with an electronic stun gun Zeigler has also agreed not to file any civil lawsuits against the city
